What we collect

When you contact us through this website, we collect the information you provide in the enquiry form: your name, email address, business type, and message content.

If you become a client, we collect further information necessary to provide accountancy services, including financial and business records you share with us.

Why we collect it

Enquiry form submissions: legitimate interest, to respond to your enquiry.
Client data: performance of a contract (your engagement letter with us), and compliance with legal obligations (tax, AML, and accounting record-keeping requirements).

We share information with Xero (our accounting software), HMRC and Companies House (as required to file on your behalf), and Engager (our client engagement platform), as necessary to provide our services.

Retention periods

Client due diligence records: minimum 5 years, under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017.
Accounting records: generally 6 years.
Enquiry form submissions that do not become clients: 12 months, then deleted.

International transfers

As part of delivering our services, some administrative and bookkeeping support may be provided by contractors based outside the UK. Where this involves your personal data, we put appropriate safeguards in place, including an International Data Transfer Agreement, to protect it to UK standards.

Your rights
